Gordon Brown on Pardon begging Tour

Gordon Brown visited Islamabad recently on a Pardon begging tour after Queen's Envoy was unable to meet with Pakistani leadership.President and Pm refuse to meet British Envoy. On the other hand British High commission was insisting that no meeting request has rejected. This all started after Gordon Brown announced that his Inspector Lestrade have prevented a "major Terror Plot". 11 suspected terrorists were arrested, by his "Scotland Yard" , on suspicion of capturing photographs of themselves in Public places( taking pictures of yourself in public places, with your clothes on is crime in Britain nowadays!). These terrorist posed such a high risk to security of Britain, that no consular ""accesses" was provided to them, until investigation have been almost over. Now British Governments top priory is to get them deported, as they a still a risk to security of British people ( only Inspector Lestrade can explain).

On his one day visit he also met with PML(N)'s leader Nawaz Sharif, well to talk on bilateral issues ( Long march has it's side effects too -:) ).

In the same vein, also recently British security forces unloaded a few drunken terrorist , from a Emirates, Pakistan bound flight. Their only crime was, that one of them joking called another fellow a terrorist. I haven't seen until now a drunken member of Al-Qadea.

This raises a new question, either their should be a be signboard that says "taking Photographs of this place is a not permitted or ... "

P.s " For Lovers of high end cameras" if you want to use or view a high end cameras, just call the police and report that your neighbours have suspected links with terrorist. "Men in white" will arrive carrying a few high end camera. Ask them if they are willing to let you take a sample picture ( remember to use your own card, because their's contain "sensitive data") .

Shoe thrown at Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh

A shoe was thrown at Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh by a student identified by Police as Hitesh Chauhan, had failed his fourth semester in computer engineering from an institute in Gandhinagar and reportedly told the police that he had thrown the shoe for five minutes of fame. Cops said Chauhan was notorious on the campus for leading protests, joining inter-college clashes and has been booked once for cheating in an exam. "The shoe", landed 30 feet from podium as, there was a safety net around. Chauhan apparently belongs to the BJP's youth wing, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad. The ABVP, however was quick to disown him and sent a rejoinder clarifying that he had nothing to do with them BJP leader L K Advani also came under attack for the second time.

This is third time a shoe has been thrown at a Indian politican.

The shoe was thrown by former Katni district President of BJP Pawas agarwal, who was aggreived on removal from Party's leadership. He also called Advani a "Fake Iron man" who was not suitable as Prime Minsitral canididate.Advani was “nakli Lauh Purush” (a fake iron man). “He has no ideology. On the one hand he asks for votes in the name of Ram and on the other hand pays obeisance to (Pakistan founder Mohammed Ali) Jinnah,” he said.On why he did not raise the issue at a party platform, Agarwal said: “None of the party leaders had the courage to communicate these feelings because they too were not allowed to speak.” Advani refused to comment on this.

2009 Lahore police academy attacks

Everybody is talking of motive here is my comments
Just reverse it,Afghanistan is a free peaceful country,India is occupied by Russian and they are sending drones on Lahore. One day it’s drone attack on Liberty, next day on motorway and next day its Anarkali.Tribes only have some table talk on the issue and then rest in peace. Then one day Gago Badmash sends his men to tribal belt and attack a FCR training centre. What will be his motive ?

This is in response to this What provokes Baitullah Mehsud?

Bucknor Blames India

He was quoted as saying
I have survived for a long time,Had it not been for strong-willed people within the ICC I might have been out due to negative reactions from certain quarters. When you speak to a captain and he's not happy you are reported.

"If his (national) association is strong enough they may believe that they should take action.

Because they are more equal, they seem to have more say. And what they say, especially influenced by money, they seem to have their way."
Those are really strong comments.Well this might not be noticed by the Indians but these comments are enough for their reputations.India has a fine working team, but using your financial might,to remove an umpire is same as BCCI acting as bookie. This is quite unfortunate. Not upto the spirit of the "The great game".

Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry to be restored as Chief Justice of Pakistan

Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry will be restored in few minutes.Prime minister Yousaf raza gallani will announce this.Although he has been restored but the issue of the revering the 3rd November's emergency is still alive. So until government vehemently denies any link to 3rd November's emergency, these protests will continue in some form.

So it is better for the country and all stakeholders that 3rd November's emergency, should be revered, thus ending this crisis in all form.

Downloading and Using Linux (Ubuntu 8.10)

Downloading and using Linux has become quite easy nowadays.

Here is a guide for Pakistani users

how to get rid of the Microsoft and its's virus laden windows.Linux is most secure

You can run Linux even from a "Live cd" or a "Live Usb".

You must have broadband connection if you want to download or can buy a Ubuntu Linux "live cd" from your Malha  ki cd shop.

Or most easiest of all, you can request a free cd. Which will take almost 4-6 weeks to deliver.

If you want to download follow these steps.

  1. Go to this link download Ubuntu
  2. Select Download Ubuntu 8.10
  3. Select the iamge you want to download.Mostly likely PC (Intel x86) desktop CD.(If you click on this link it will start downloading the Desktop Ubuntu Livecd for 32- bit system.)
  4. Once downloaded run Nero or any other cd burning software.Burn an ISO image to a blank cd.
  5. Restart and boot form the Cd.
  6. Ubuntu should Start.
  7. Enjoy your newly found freedom.

If you have a USB flash of size 2Gb or greater then you should install Ubuntu to it. To install it follow the "Live USB" link.

'UK e-mail law 'attack on rights'

Everyone who have a concern for their privacy are warned not to communicate with People/businesses located in U.K, after 1/March/2009 ,using E-mail.

This is due to the fact the every E-mail's  data (sent from  or received in )  U.K  will be recorded by the British government. It will be stored for a period of 1 year.

So if you have any concerns for your privacy, you are requested to use other means of communication, instead of using E-mail.e.g sms, phone call

If you think privacy is not a concern then you should read George Orwell's  "Nineteen Eighty-Four".

"Local" Gillette's shaving cream

According to the CEO,Gillette Pakistan,Gillette's shaving cream is only manufactured in India and China. So he can't import it from India for the political reasons and Chinese manufactured will not be well received by the consumers. There is an idea floating around,it's that Gillette should manufacture it locally.

Here is my question .

Will you use Gillette's locally manufactured Shaving cream ?

you can answer this by participating in the poll on the right side of this post.

You may also post your comments by clicking on the link below.

P.S. This post was drafted on 30/10/2008 but has to be posted on 1/1/2009 due to "oven hot" service of PTCL.

Poll will be created in a few moments.
